Nothing like a poetically framed killing spree to kick off a new week…
It’s essentially an insight into the recording of Nebraska with lots of introspection, self doubts and dealing with inner demons. It’ll leave you wanting to revisit Badlands though…

Beautiful.
Plaid Cymru battered them.
Just kicked off Halloween movie system with The Exorcist…
A single Brenden Aaronson away from a legitimate football miracle!
📋 Your #LUFC XI...
It’s not so easy for Farke when he’s managing a team that isn’t markedly better than every other one he comes up against, is it?

Summerville, James, Sinisterra and Gnonto started our first game back in the Championship (Rutter was unavailable) and over two seasons we’ve ‘built’ to this.
To be honest, he could’ve been 65 and still would’ve been untroubled
Only 9 more Brendan Aaronson starts until Xmas. 🎄
What bit? The failing to score bit? The needles concession of two goals bit? The having two flimsy bits of plywood in the front three bit? The spunking of £30m on defenders who can’t get close to a line-up featuring Pascal Strujk bit?
Farke: "Went wrong in both boxes. Cannot have better stats than we did away from home today. Possession, shots, big chances, xG, corners. Even when Arsenal, Man City et al come here they will not repeat that." #lufc
Risible stuff, a transfer policy laid bare.

A performance where with every passing minute, the players seemed to become ever more aware of their inability to pose a credible attacking threat.

Any assembled PL squad that affords so much game time to Harrison, Aaronson and Nmecha is a travesty.
Thought we all did, circa 2022
If the LUFC attacking players were actually knocking on doors, as opposed to just metaphorically doing so, you could only surmise they were Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Why can’t Harrison or Aaronson ever get injured?
Him, Bijol… you’d even have Justin in to deliver us from Harrison
There’s wanting to and being able to, we’re fine in the first respect
It’s okay, he’ll rush Dan James back after about an hour and doubtless condemn him to the treatment table for a few more weeks
That’s the kind of display most LUFC supporters worried about at the close of the transfer window. Plenty of willing, but any front three that features Harrison and Aaronson at this level rates as utterly feeble, even against opposition as shite as Burnley.

Praying for something from set pieces.
Bit late to the Diane Keaton wake, but what a talent. The Woody Allen stuff and the late career, Hollywood challenging romcoms will doubtless receive laudatory love, but first and foremost, she provided the love, morality, warmth and the beating heart of The Godfather films.

Sleep well, Kay. x
Unlucky for the second consecutive Saturday, though the second half really exposed LUFC’s paucity of attacking options.

Looking at the bench in search of potential PL level game changers at 1-2 made for quite a sobering experience.
I think the only one I can immediately recall who didn’t have any apparent flaws was April, and she wasn’t half bad either!
Stop the world, I’m getting off.

The greatest threat to our democracy, freedom, and human rights is not Farage. It is the overwhelming majority of the British news media.

They promote Farage, and they protect Farage.

If they carry on like this, we will soon have no democracy.
In the absence of having anything more constructive to do, I’m almost halfway through watching Peep Show (yet) again.

Has there ever been a more universally accepted, unconventional crush than Dobby? I’ve never encountered anyone who doesn’t feel it.
Taking one of our best headers of the ball before the free-kick was taken wouldn’t have been the time for me, even if I had agreed with the change.

We were coping admirably, playing up the pitch and the changes seemed to impact on the mindset which had been positive and very effective for so long
