Beginning to think "billionaire" should be classified as a mental disorder. It's almost impossible for people so rich and walled off from the rest of the world to be in touch with reality.

Hillary Clinton’s “deplorables” comment literally looks better every day.

As long as Netanyahu remains PM and sees his political survival - and perhaps his personal freedom - as dependent on waging conflict then, yeah, this is all theater designed to just buy more time or, in this case, to placate Trump.

Yeah, but Fox's Pentagon reporter - Jennifer Griffin - is far and away the best one they have. Tough luck for Hegseth.

Yeah, but the Jays are still Canadian. Switching support to a US team - even one just across the border - is probably a tough sell these days.

Growing up in Los Angeles I remember the two times the National Guard were needed there. The Watts Riots in 1965 when I was 5 and the Rodney King riots 26 years later. It's insane the casualness with which people like Benioff want to deploy the military now for common city problems.

@kpixtv.bsky.social should be embarrassed. In that compilation the only person who got pushback was the person supporting prop 50 - Porter. Everyone against it got a free pass. I knew the DC press is wired for Republicans but I sure as hell didn’t expect my local CBS station to be, as well.

I understand why the US has a base in Qatar but I'd love to know what the strategic mission is for the Qatari Air Force having a base in Idaho.

Reid Hoffman, Tom Steyer, Michael Moritz, Dustin Moskovitz, Laurene Powell Jobs, Reed Hastings, Ron Conway, Jeff/Erica Lawson, Allan Thygesen (Docusign), Allan Thygesen (Box dot com) ... not at all gone but Democrats don't own the Valley like they once did. The Biden administration sure didn't help.
