At least it didn’t kill them like the obvious missed strike just killed the Brewers and all but ended this series.
I just wish it was hard and random in the Brewers favor once in a while.
For clarification, I'm not suggesting you implement a cap. I'm saying that even if they did, that wouldn't stop the Dodgers from being one of the best teams in baseball every year.
It's what has me so depressed. A change in the salary structure isn't stopping the Dodgers.

Implement a cap. The Dodgers will still spend up to or near that cap and scout/develop players who help them on the field or via trade better than pretty much everyone else.
Not to mention they have one of the best farm systems in baseball.
At least they won a series this time, I guess? Maybe someday they’ll have 3 or 4 consecutive playoff series against teams that piss it away.
I’m afraid not even he can save these Brewers. Lol.
Don’t worry. This shit isn’t going 5 much less 6.
We’re seeing some truly disgusting at bats from the Brewers.
This has not gone unnoticed.
Since his double to lead off Game 3 of the NLDS, Christian Yelich is 0 for 15.
Sure. You could be the 16th team to ever come back from down 2-0 in a seven game series. Or the 4th team to do that when losing game 1 and 2 at home. I'm not fond of those odds tho.
Good thing it's a home game with Freddy pitching then I guess. Hopefully they can chase Yamamoto early again. Tonight is a must win imo. You can't go to LA 0-2 in this series and have any realistic hope of winning the series.
Also, it says a lot about where Wisconsin is when a middling ACC Head Coach like Doeren actually gets me excited.

I think Leipold is my top choice, but I'm not convinced that KU to UW (or even NCST to UW for Doeren) isn't a lateral move right now.
That's fair. It was just a spicy take that popped in my head after the news yesterday.

Hiring a failed NFL HC just to get his dad to restore your oline's history is incredibly bad process, but I need UW to at least get back to having great offensive linemen if nothing else. Lol.
The tomorrow part his hyperbole, but I'd seriously consider him to replace Fickell.

The Wisconsin ties are loose and 30 years old and Brian's coaching history is almost exclusively in the NFL outside of a GA year at UCLA and a year of HS coaching.
This is my hot take:

I would fire Fickell and hire Brian tomorrow if I was UW just to get Bill Challahan coaching the offensive line again.
Sources: After a brutal start to the season, the Titans have fired coach Brian Callahan.
And even if he did, he's not getting 1-3 inches off the plate every game.

(This is not to diminish his excellent performance, but he was getting help that he didn't need)
Same reason your leg kicks when the doctor taps your knee with that little hammer.

Is there a world where fan backlash would influence the MLBPA on a salary cap? I get how fans could theoretically influence ownership, but I'm not sure MLBPA will ever yield on a cap (nor should they) regardless of how pissed fans might become.
Turns out Chase is pretty good.
