Been doing mostly film photography for months. Yesterday, I powered up the micro four-thirds mirrorless camera and had a little practise with some freestyle surfers.
#Beach, #Surf, #Surfer, #Surfing, #Lohis, #Maldives, #Waves,
A surfers in a white rash vest and red shorts takes a small wave. A surfer in black shorts bends over as he rides a wave.

Oh. Don't me started on that Dyson Air Blade. What a load of rubbish that is.

Thank you. From the bit of research I've done it should be quite straightforward. So I might end up with two decent folders (famous last words).

Good for you, and thank you for taking up the baton. I'll try and be there.

#FolderWeek starts in one week, on October 19. The idea is to shoot a folding camera for the eeek, sharing photos when you can. Remember, if it folds, it’s a folder. Please remember to use the hashtag. Also, please share photos of your folding camera out in the wild. #BelieveInFilm

I was humming and hawing over a Kiev-88 the other day. Decided that the Kiev-60 was enough.

Thank you! It's soft as hell blown up, but looks a little painterly.

Thank you. Yes, there's nothing like a bit of pole-arity ...
A second bit of pole-arity with the Bencini Comet Rapid half-frame camera and Lomochrome Turquoise. This time a concrete electricity pole topped with glass insulators against a clear blue (orange) sky.

That Pentax would bring out a Pentax 17r? (Where 'r' stands for 'Rapid'.) Perhaps if I ask them nicely?

It's half-frame Friday, and I never remember it's half-frame Friday. So here's a little bit of pole-arity from the Bencini Comet Rapid with Lomochrome Turquoise. #HalfFrame #HalfFrameFriday
A telegraph pole against a clear blue sky. Because I used the colour shifting film, Lomochrome Turquoise, the sky appears orange.

Seen some amazing work with these. I'm not interested (unless Pentax bring out a Rapid version), but I reckon it's well worth a punt.

A friend on IG is selling her Pentax 17. Anyone looking for an almost new one at a decent discount?

Used to be the most awesome fish'n'chip shop in the high street. Literally decades since I've been there (Tewkesbury), almost certainly totally different.

I used to work at Strensham services (back in the 1980s) and will never forget the family who came in and wanted to know how to get to 'Tew-kes-bury'. Where we lived (Upton) it was pronounced 'Chucks-bree', though to be honest I'm not actually sure if that was right and not just the local accent.

I was going to go with Worcester, too. But Tewkesbury was just as close to where we lived.

Yes, definitely. I have a roll of Lomochrome Purple with light leaks that should be awesome.

I bought a DigitaLiza 35mm scanner mask from Lomography specifically so I could scan sprockets, so I'd darned well better get that Rocket on the launch pad.

That would be great! I'm always promising myself to take out the Rocket, but it never happens.
