This very much true in the LDS tradition, so much so that we just call it “bishop roulette.”
Nothing is wilder than the unprotected pedestrian/cyclist path that must share the road with vehicles. There’s nothing more exciting than running around in a park with car exhaust right next to you.
It’s fine but it isn’t even peak fall color yet!
The dentist church is far less fun so good on ya
It was the worst! All of the “sanctuary cities” that were highlighted are lovely.
The carpet! Real old heads know.
And $10,000 at BYUI gets you a degree in something mildly useful as well

(not an endorsement of BYUI)
The best want to play in front of an overly polite fanbase!
Nothing makes you feel like you're in a live music desert until you hear what is happening in New Orleans on some random weekend night.
No offense to Mitt but this is the real Mormon Moment.
I don’t even understand the person who would want to park there any time other than early weekend mornings, miserable place to get out of any other time of the day.
It’s the most pointless street parking, too. There are parking lots and multiple garages for every business from that corner up to the library. The green paint looks nice though.
All with the local flavor of being held at a ski resort. Bravo’s finest work.
Hard agree. It makes for a richer season and I care far more about college football as a whole, which has been fun.
Bummer that they couldn’t cap off the surprise run they had this season but they also won games they probably shouldn’t have…so I consider it a wash.

Low expectations at the beginning allows me to be delightfully surprised each year.
Kim Huong next door is worth a visit for banh mi and pho. Probably my favorite in Salem.
One of my votes finally making a difference 😌
The Walmart associates didn’t ask for this
He's a great pick. It's a shame for us in Salem that his focus will expand beyond just the mid-Willamette Valley but I'm sure he'll do well in a statewide role.
It’s amazing how local politics in your purple city (without saying names) feels like a coin flip between moderately progressive government trying to get by vs. people who would love to pull the plug on the city/schools/government while rubbing elbows with the mid-Willamette Valley’s worst.
