My Jimmy and I watched The Fury last night on TCM after Mario's review that it was bonkers. It had Kirk Douglas, John Cassavetes, and Amy Irving. It was definitely bonkers.

Oregon is supposed to get hit with an "atmospheric river" this weekend. In other words, we're getting a lot of rain, more so than the usual PNW rain. The weather people are predicting ~3" of rain this weekend. This all means I'll be spending a lot of time inside and hopefully with #classicmovies!

My husband and I learned from Rob Reiner, Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer's new book about Spinal Tap that "Laverne and Shirley" apparently was critical to the formation of Spinal Tap and #ThisisSpinalTap. #TCMParty

I saw Spinal Tap II last month. It wasn't quite as good as the first one, but it was still funny and worth watching. Nigel's amp that goes to 11 has been replaced with him acquiring dozens of effects pedals in case he needs that certain sound while he's playing.
