There are moments where Holden will open up and let Zach be close. They are genuine, but also short lived. Holden will usually push Zach away and remind him there's no chance at getting back together. He reacts that way because in those brief moments, he wants what they used to have back, too. ⬇️

On another note, I can't decide if Zach should be clean shaven or scruffy 😂 I might draw him both ways like I do with Adam. I think he might have some stubble when he isn't feeling hopeful about Holden.

Some more backstory - they are high school sweethearts, and before Zach stepped out, each other's one and only. They met at the gay and straight alliance club in their high school, where they instantly hit it off. They share a ⬇️
