Andrew - Guiding Bullet I don't think it's all worked out just yet, but I imagine he's able to see specific information about things/people and then enchant things with that info. Like implanting weaknesses into a bullet. Or adding effective health benefits to what's otherwise just placebo medicine. Maybe even the opposite could be done, adding healing properties to a bullet. or that could just leave a larger wound 🤷‍♂️ But as a drawback, he can't blink while using any aspect of that ability. It's also very mentally draining. Thought it would be fun to try blending the different things I've written him as before. A mechanic, a navigator, a gunslinger I'm just glad to be drawing again ✨️ This project is nearly done! #magicalboy #mlm #oc #art #characterart

I honestly felt varying levels of uncertainty with this one but putting him next to the others made me feel a little better. The color scheme definitely grew on me ✨️ He originally would've had more vampiric abilities, and I somehow landed on subtle themes of reflected light/shadows at least on paper. Those cards would have functioned as both portals and "dark" mirrors of other characters too, but for now I'll just stick with it as an aesthetic choice. I've got too many notes on him 🤭 On to the next! 3 more to go, and I'm having fun experimenting ✨️

#wkdart When Venomian forces targeted the Central Research District where his mother, Dr. Vixy Reinard, worked on advanced Arframe development, a 17-year-old Fox McCloud was ushered into the cockpit of the Redtail, an experimental Arframe built from what was left of the machine his father, James McCloud, had once piloted. Before being separated in the chaos, his mother bid him to "Follow the stars." Fox, who had never piloted a Mobile Gear before, awakened his latent Resonant ability and drove the attackers off, saving countless lives. Cornerian Federation forces later recovered the battered Mobile Gear-and its traumatized young pilot- recognizing both as invaluable assets. Now commissioned as a warrant officer onboard the Great Fox, Fox is driven to protect those he holds dear, serving as the lance of Corneria's Mobile Gear corps. Fox's Resonant ability manifests as a shimmer, a constantly shifting starfield that only he can perceive, guiding towards the optimal course of action in any situation. One was not conscripted or salvaged like the other Numbers; he was donated. Born Lord Andrew Oikonny, nephew to Supreme Leader Andross himself, he represents the pinnacle of Venomian aristocracy. His submission to the Numbers program at age 12 was framed as the ultimate patriotic sacrifice; a noble son offering himself as the first and finest weapon for the Dukedom's cause. One's Resonant abilities manifest as a flawless control of his Mobile Gear, with efficient energy management and no wasted motion. Other Resonants are unable to read his movements as he has zero latency between thought and action. Though outwardly vain and haughty, One has come to think of the other numbers as family and often demonstrates genuine concern for them, repeatedly disobeying orders to protect them(though he always claims that he is simply preserving Venomian assets). Another child rescued from the ruins of a battlefield, Ewalu has no memory of his early life on Corneria or before the numbers. He bonded easily with the scientists of the Numbers project and has a generally positive demeanor, and enjoys tinkering with technology, often assisting with maintenance and improvements on the mobile gears himself. Ewalu's Resonant abilities uniquely manifest as a type of limited technopathy, a form of "machine empathy" that allows him to understand technology on an intuitive and almost emotional level, often describing different systems as having "personalities" and "moods." Under certain conditions, he is even able to highjack visual and auditory data from active mobile gears, and with his own mobile gear can even wrest control from other's machines, though doing so can cause him significant neural strain in the form of severe migraines and mental fatigue. Ewalu maintains a cheerful disposition in most situations and is well liked among the Numbers, who treat him like a sibling. Settimo was conscripted from cornerian streets, specifically targeted for incredibly high resonant potential. orphaned during early venomian-Cornerian conflicts, he was taken under the wing of Rex Caldwell, venom's chief mobile gear test pilot, prior to his defection to the cornerian federation. Bitter over his percieved abandoment by his father figure, Settimo has sworn to protect the other numbers; however, his high sync rate with the experimental xvmg-07r reaper causes him intense neural feedback that results in a loss of distinction between himself and his mobile gear, causing physical and psychological degredation and making him incredibly dangerous to everyone present on the battlefield during prolonged missions despite his unprecedented combat ability.
