Let us please, once and for all, ban any and all headlines that begin "Do/eat this ONE THING to..." (lose weight, improve sleep, reverse aging, reach enlightenment)

I hate to break it to you, but there is no easy, miracle solution to any of it. Nothing exists in a vacuum.
On Monday, I participated in my first online co-working hour with a diverse group of kind people who are either scientists or science-adjacent, all just looking for community during these trying times. It was so lovely! Never underestimate the power of community.
This is so exciting! Thanks for your dedication and leadership in this space @grandner.bsky.social and @m-pst-ongephd.bsky.social! Go check it out, folks 👇 #SleepHealth
Excited to announce an official scientific statement from the @americanheart.bsky.social!

Thank you for believing in me!!
Thanks for the feature @uazbio5.bsky.social! I hope that my weird and winding path to where I am now encourages others to never stop dreaming 🛌

British friend visiting me in the US & watching hotel room TV commercials: “so, if I understand correctly, they seem to go between ads for fast food and medications for the diseases caused by the fast food?”
Bright days and dark nights (although technically we’ve just had a full moon) up in this part of Arizona = a circadian paradise! #CircadianRhythms #GetOutside
Now this is what it's all about! 🙌 Thanks @uazbio5.bsky.social for doing a stellar job to bridge the gaps that exist between scientists, as well as those that exist between the public and science. Loved attending "Behind BIO5" to nerd out with anyone willing to listen! #SciComm
If you aren’t on this mailing list, I highly recommend it. Grateful for @lizneeley.bsky.social’s efforts!

More reasonable start times are definitely gaining traction! It’s so cruel to have them on those awful schedules. It’s like an adult having to wake up at 2-3am every day!
It really is! We haven't had the usual wildflower bloom this month due to a REALLY dry winter, but I'm hoping the last week of good rain rejuvenates the plants!
Is there anything better than a Sunday stomp about the mountain? Endlessly grateful for this Sonoran sunshine ☀️
DeeeeLIGHTful to attend a session on “life’s rhythms” at this year’s #TucsonFestivalOfBooks. Shoutout to @lynnepeeps.bsky.social for mentioning dark skies, light justice, and school start times.

For World Sleep Day, @katkennedy.bsky.social, 2025 BIO5 Postdoc Fellow has perspective:

"Everyone's experience with sleep is different, but I believe how we sleep reflects how we spend our days. It's crucial to give ourselves space during the day to process stress, so we can sleep better at night."
