That's my guess, I just wish the stupid gas would stay below my ribs. That seems to be where it hurts the least, but it just keeps moving around

What's even more annoying is I had absolutely none of this after my hysterectomy in May, so this is all just a nightmare I wasn't expecting.

Oh yikes! A friend who had her gallbladder out in June wondered how many people go into the ER thinking they're having a heart attack after these procedures, and I imagine it's a high number.

Not a lot, but I've been in and out of being asleep for the past couple hours. I was told I could take other pain meds between the Norco, and that seems to be doing a little bit to help?

I've been taking gas x anyway because screw it. But the heating pad my parents have is like 30 years old and we don't trust it. The doctor said I could add ibuprofen between the Norco, so we'll see how that goes.

Sometimes I remember worrying that I was embarrassing when I started sharing my fanart. I fell so hard & so fast for our pirates. Then a pro comic artist I really look up to just out of the blue told me my OFMD stuff was "beautiful work". It was like he knew I needed to hear it right at that moment.

Update the 4th: it is almost 6:30 in the morning, and I've slept in 10-20 minute intervals. The pain med is doing nothing for the gas pain, and the ER rep I called said they didn't really know what they could do. My surgeon's office isn't open yet, and their automated line isn't working. Sigh.

Update the 3rd: I've been home for like 4 hours and am now having the "they used gas in my abdomen and everything hurts" experience. Here's hoping this stuff goes away soon!

1st update: apparently me and the IV didn't get along and I almost passed out. Like got dizzy, lips went white, ringing in my ears and everything. I'm a lot better now, but that was weird!
