It was a real honour to be amongst this group of incredible, thoughtful educators. Looking forward to the work ahead!
We were privileged today to convene such a knowledgeable, committed and insightful expert working party to start to explore and define the unique characteristics of "teaching teachers" as a distinct discipline.

We’’ll be sharing a blog based on these discussions shortly!

Literally the last thing the sector needs is more external ‘expertise’ for £££. We need to reduce our reliance on it, not increase it.

These are the examples that Ofsted need to be bombarded with over the consultation. Anyone with half an ounce of sense will see that it is a nonsense that one of these is better than the other.
Which is better?

OR

"Appropriate and well-judged adaptations help pupils to overcome the most significant barriers to learning"

It’s a good idea to be cautious about ideas and opinions in education: those that are given on a whim, with no foundation, with little time or forethought given to their basis or their impact…

The trust versus LA debate is a damaging distraction
Rather than arguing about school structures, we should be focusing on removing accountability levers that are preventing schools of all types from collaborating, argues Keziah Featherstone
