I’ve temporarily suspended sales to the US from my art shop because of the uncertain tariff situation. I can’t imagine any customer wanting to pay an extra 35% (current estimate) at the door. I love my US customers and hope things change.

Their persuasion skills mature faster than their ability to do the things they are negotiating. I remember thinking 'damn that's a good argument' but saying no.
Just noticed more than one typo in an email I just sent. Sent a correction of one. Then noticed two others. So tempted to correct them too but I need to tell my perfectionist brain to move along. And possibly not send any more emails today.
I tried to plug my charger cable into the hardcover book on my night table a while ago.
Yes! Looks nice but the center rarely has the right texture.
Evening walk with the pup. Some kind of beautiful.
There is so much beautiful positive energy in my feed today. My heart is with all of the good Americans who showed up today in towns and cities to peacefully protest.

My boss: so how's our fourth quarter looking?

Me, the sales manager at the company that makes inflatable frog suits: well, you're never going to believe this, but
Thanks, Lisa. I told him to ‘Shut up’ and said he was being rude. I surprised myself to respond that way. The majority of dog owners are really nice but I guess it’s inevitable you’ll encounter an a-h!
A man was unnecessarily rude to me earlier today when I was walking Jasper. It threw off my day. I hate confrontations. So this afternoon I made an apple galette and listened to good music. And thought about how my dog is definitely way cuter than his.
Oh this was good! Made it tonight. I think we own all of your books so your daily posts are wonderful arrows towards recipes we haven’t tried.

"The best thing for being sad," replied Merlin, beginning to puff and blow, "is to learn something." — T.H. White, The Once and Future King
A delicious lunch for Thanksgiving Day with the only tomatoes that managed to ripen in our garden! I’ve brought in the rest, all green. I guess it made us appreciate these ones all the more. #goodlunch #thanksgiving 🇨🇦
Our Thanksgiving meal. Just the two of us this year so I made a favourite meal of turkey risotto with prosciutto and olives. The turkey was frozen from Christmas so it’s double celebratory.
I'm just catching up on your tough day. It's the worst thing when they are sick and you don't know why. Glad she is doing better. May you both sleep well tonight.
We watched Hopscotch after I saw you mention it here. It was charming!
She had such a joyful, vibrant spirit. I’m having trouble accepting this sad news. Annie Hall came out when I was in university. I loved her endearing eccentric character and bought a secondhand vest because of her. It’s still in my closet. Another favourite was Something’s Gotta Give. 💔
We can count on you for dogs and other things we feel in our soul.
