Okay, season finale of “Alien: Earth” redeemed the whole show. But still, I was hoping for something way better. This whole talking to Alien - I don’t buy it. And I still much prefer to see Alien hidden in the shadows than in a plain view during the day.

“The Naked Gun” 2025 is pretty funny. Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson have great chemistry. Jokes are as you’d expect from Naked Gun films.

After 5 episodes of “Alien: Earth” I feel disappointed. For something that has ALIEN in a title, there’s not much of Xenomorph in it. We have plenty of disposable characters that I don’t find interesting and I can’t cheer for anyone. I don’t think it will get better in coming episodes.

Finally I saw “Materialists” - Might not be as perfect as “Past Lives”, but using rom-com cliches, Celine Song deconstructs modern meaning of love. Cinematography, subtle performance of Dakota, Chris and Pedro make this film a very enjoyable experience.

Oh, what a disappointing movie. But I blame the script, there’s not much a director can do if story or characters are paper thin or downright annoying and disposable. In my opinion, whole family subplot should be cut out and film would’ve been so much better.

I’ve rewatched “The Old Guard” and I still like it a lot.
Now, sequel - to be honest I don’t understand those poor reviews as I really enjoyed it. I think it’s equally good and engaging. Let’s hope @netflix.com will give us part 3 as I need to see the epic showdown between Charlize and Uma.

“28 Years Later” - sequel that has similar story arc, but it’s not a simple cash grab, it’s an original film in the series. It’s nearly as good as “28 Days Later” and a thousand times better then crappy “28 Weeks Later”.

I was very sceptical about that film, I’m not a fan of live remakes of animated films - I blame Disney for starting this trend.

“Butterfly on a Wheel” - a poor copy of David Fincher’s “The Game” with soundtrack that is a poor copy of Howard Shore’s score for Fincher’s “SE7EN”. Whoever came up with an idea for that film, clearly was Fincher’s fan, but had none of his talent. Forgetful watch.

British Airways website is the worst one I’ve seen. If you want to check online, it keeps crashing, so you have to try on the app, which does not always work.
