2. Carolyn

Side note: since it is a family name, Grandma a half century ago told me in the 1800s it was pronounced "Carol Ann"

2nd side note: my take so far is east of the Mississippi it's "long i."

I'm a survivor of gallstones. First (and only) time I ever had morphine, then I got the gallbladder removed. Unfortunately, you need a liver. Good luck.

Decades ago I was "adopted" by 2 pregnant feral cats. Shortly, I had 17 cats and kittens. Long story, involving one mama passing an infection in her milk; had to feed the remaining kitten queen's milk. Was able to find a shelter for the litter. Eventually got down to 2 cats and 2 kittens.

2-time breast cancer survivor here (don't believe it was metastatic); occurrences 20 years apart. I'm old and remember when any cancer diagnosis was considered a death sentence. Hurray for science and early treatment.

Goddess, the people at the #HSB (Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival in SF) are so kind. Walking from the grass to the portapotties with a 15° incline I ran out of portable fencing to hold on to. Nice ladies asked if I needed help. She let me hold her arm until the next fencing.
