As a certified (if not certifiable) Boomer, I have no interest in these re-hashes of my childhood media and don't get why anyone does. The best cartoon of that period was Rocky and Bullwinkle. If I wanted to enjoy what those cartoons meant to me, why wouldn't I just rewatch the originals?

Rocket has a whole advertising campaign based on how hard it is to cancel subscriptions. Im guessing you have to pay them to do it for you.

I want a voice controlled computer that simply answers the questions I ask it, that doesn't try to engage me further, that doesn't make up stuff based on a probabalistic model, that says it doesn't know when it doesn't know. If it sounds like Majel, that would be great.

Im not too fond of the pew-pew space battles for the same reason. Spend more special effects budget on weird creatures and phenomena, less on fights and battles.

I do want the Brewers to win more, but only a smidge more. This is because of my usual rule (not applicable to the Yankees, though) of rooting for the team that has the longest World Series drought.

Of the living broadcasters that I've listened to, Dan Shulman approaches closest to my ideal of "baseball guy who gets it." Mind you, I grew up listening to Vin Scully on a transistor radio the size of two packs of cigarettes.

I have two separate bagel orders depending on the purpose. For a meal: toasted poppyseed bagel, cream cheese, lox. For a snack: toasted salt bagel, lots of butter, and best if accompanied by a chocolate egg cream.
