The Republicans have shown who they are and what they care about. All of their constant bloviating about family values, protecting children and all of that is just lip service. They care about themselves and they are very obviously working to protect one or more of their own.

I thought Trump would break the GOP. He’s broken the Democrats instead, laying bare how useless they have been. The reason why the GOP has been so successful isn’t because they are not particularly good at anything else except exploiting how useless the Democrats are.

Establishment Democrats are feckless and doing nothing to resist the complete collapse of democracy in the USA. Supporting the Democrats is roughly equivalent to not voting at all. They deserve no support whatsoever until they grow some spines and start fighting.
