Dark Souls Update:

I found out that the forest area is NOT an endgame area, as i had been told. Went there and killed a big butterfly annd a really janky hydra. Also killed Jeff Bridges the Bridge Dragon. Game is good!

Seems like after the original trilogy, all of the best stuff is in the side media. I’m a relatively new “fan” but I definitely want more Star Wars Stories and less rehashes of the empire v rebellion plot.

Watched Star Wars Skeleton Crew and it was pretty good! Lived up to the hype”goonies in space” allegations. Also it seems like as a general rule, if the Star Wars media has a cool droid I’m in.

Half of Dark Souls' difficulty is from the cool combat and the other half is from it having no map and the devs having a fetish for beginner's traps

dark souls level design is like "there are 5 enemies in this room. You cannot see them before you go in. If you go in, one immediately spawns behind you to bodyblock you. Have fun luring them one by one through a choke for 5 minutes."
