So, I guess the only violations that lead to a Stoppage of play in hockey are offsides, icing and out of bounds unless there’s a penalty. Pretty easy to see the difference. It would be nice to track which player committed it while at the arena, though.

So, if I watch NHL on TV, I get a description of the infraction, offsides, icing, etc. kinda surprised we don’t get an announcement or a graphic on the scoreboard. Are we to read the hand signal from the official? No replay either.

Quinten Post is doing what he needs to do to continue to start. He’s able to switch and close out on three point shooters and cause some bad misses. He seems to prefer shooting from the wings rather than from the corners however.

The investment made by the vets, coaches, scouts and ownership seem to be paying tremendous dividends. Adjustments will be made but they will all lead to better looks for Steph and Jimmy. There is likely leadership from the Rookie.

Disagree about playing Forward and concede that his physical agility is below average. But he has played in 45 NBA games and shown massive improvement in standing tall defending the rim. I don’t really want him leaping and picking up fouls. If you score a two over him, congrats. Run it back.

Quinten Post has a 9'4" standing reach which is 2" higher than NBA Center Averages. With his reliable 3 pt shot and his ability to stand vertically, switch and close out, he should be the default starter against typical teams.

Butler, Draymond and JK are shooting the 3 well. If Post can defend the post and cover the perimeter like he's showed the last two games, that keeps Draymond out of the 5 spot which is pretty desirable. Podz, Melton/Richard, Moody, Buddy and Horford can play 5 out as the 2nd unit.

Meanwhile, the Kings goalie was taking fire from everywhere in the final minutes. I don't know much about hockey, but I felt they could have tried to get some deflections in front of the net with the 6-4 advantage. Good game, at least!
