I suggest BC uses the Notwithstanding clause to prevent pipelines from Alberta polluting our province. Just pass a provincial law banning pipelines, and site the Notwithstanding clause.

Overplaying Meyers on PK? This tells me Foote must be tanking. Meyers on the ice now for 12 short handed goals. Why not try Willander and EP25? They can’t be worse than Meyers?

Garland & Meyers: play way too much. Long shifts lots of ice time = no urgency. Foote uses the Travis Green coaching manual. Play the Vets no matter what, let the young players watch. 5th g is typical Garland: no urgency trying do it all himself.

Alberta teachers should go what the BC teachers did. It’s a tough one: “Work to rule”!! Nothing extra: no meetings no extra curricular activities. Just teach bell to bell. Close the classroom door at lunch leave at the bell

Outside of the 2/3,cup runs this team is average to good each year. Been that way 49 yrs. Mushy middle and no high picks. Look at NJ, Utah, Mtl, Ducks, SJose, Chicago and Buffalo starting to look decent. Blow it up!!!

Pt2: Secure Hughes: offer 8 yr x anything. Dmen; DPetey, Willander, Mancini, Kudryatsev, Mynio. Get a high draft (McKenna) throw in Cootes. Goaltending is great for a while. Cup contenders 2-3 yrs

Blow it up!! Cheered for the Canucks for 53 yrs. My 1st at UBC. Watching tonight and seeing the effort by Kane, Boeser and DeBrusk who seem entitled (PP). The addition of 73 & it’s time to get more pics and build this team around 43,40,73, 23, 54, 18, 63 etc. trade the rest keep the young core.

Goaltenders? Lankinen 30, Demko 29. Silovs 23. Silovs is maybe 1 or 2 yrs from being a good NHL goaltender. Why would the Canucks entertain the idea of trading a tremendous prospect and keep two goaltenders that both are starters. Silovs deserves to be a back up for the Canucks to 1 or the other.

Probably wrong but I believe the Canucks won’t trade Silovs and will instead trade either Demko or Lankinen.

What about the four large oil reserve basins off the BC coast? My understanding is the Queen Charlotte basin is massive. Makes sense to produce it right there. Avoid a pipeline from Alberta same risk exploring and moving oil through BC ports.

I voted yehhh. Conservatives promoting Capital punishment (Murderers and Traffickers in jail only to leave in a box) and ignoring our Constitutional Rights is really scary!!!
