but also nowadays movie stars arent really selling jazz dance and singing, the nature of cinema has changed a lot. its just not something thats required because musical movies arent really a thing anymore (not shading the actor's skills just like russell crowe in les mis godbless your heart lol)

i like a lot of older movie musicals because they're shot in a way that lets you take in the dancing, really putting the theater skills on display. it was hard to watch something like the new west side story because it was shot without considering the dancing/singing... musicals are impressionistic.

im always a little confused when people say they hate musicals because musicals are fantastic... i think it may be because people are exposed to them through movies and current day movie musicals aren't made in a way that considers its a musical.

Of course I don't like cruelty for cruelty's sake, but feelings of anger, sadness and discomfort are things that I treasure very much. These unpleasant feelings indicate that something is wrong. They show that your heart is working correctly. To turn away from that with a smile is truly cruel.

A story is about punitive vs restorative justice, trauma, abuse, communication, education, grief, and casual gay sex. It's about what people make us, long after they're gone. It's about learning how to do the laundry and playing with your cats. It's about becoming a human... Good game.

i may be incorrect, but those may be the alternate scenarios. the game features a time loop where the mc's memories are partially retained through saves.
for example, if mc enters a room with a trap, he will die. but by simply reloading a save right before, he will remember the trap and dodge it.

the 3ds is excellent when modded, but my hot take is the library is unimpressive... there are some fantastic titles on there but it lacks the variety of the ds. I usually play ds, gb or ported games on my 3ds.
