#FilamentFriday thoughts are really about Saturday. I can't march due to health issues. My role must be that of a supporter, a cheerleader, a cleric, a bard. So I shall print things that will hopefully bring joy to others, so that when they take a break they can also recharge for another round.

Report from a driver friend: #ICE raiders were at Lyft/Uber driver waiting areas at #O'Hare airport, twice today, at 10:30am and 2:15pm.

I remember when safflower seeds were advertised as something you'd set out to because "only cardinals will want these". Supposedly, other birds wouldn't eat them and would stay away from your feeders and you'd just get cardinals....

Amazon had this with Kindle Vella.
They did a "first chapter free" model. They sold credits for unlocking additional chapters.
When I worked out the per-book pricing, it was insanely expensive.

Replaced PTFE tube. Forgot which way the back tube holder thingy goes on. Important? for tiny round blue clip that holds ??? in place there. Finally found video with pic.
Went to replace tube holder thingy and blue clip.
Dropped blue clip into printer. #facepalm

On all the "[#] steps to fascism" lists I've seen, at least 80% of them have happened recently in the US.

CVS has called to let me know that I can get a covid booster the day after Gov. Pritzker signed the "anyone can get a covid shot" paperwork.
For y'all in states where they might ask about high-risk issues and vaccine relevancy, here's a helpful doctor's note.

I like this. Since under RFK Jr, Covid shots are now for people with underlying conditions that put them at risk, Michigan’s chief medical executive Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian states that not having the most recent Covid shot constitutes such an underlying condition.

In her recommendation, Bagdasarian stated,
"Any person over the age of six months without contraindication who has not received a dose of a Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved or-authorized 2025-2026 COVID-19 vaccine may be considered to have an underlying condition that puts them at high risk for severe outcomes from COVID-19 and is thus eligible to receive an age-appropriate dose."

#FilamentFriday and I'm test-printing some tabletop game scenery tiles.
"Silver" filament is *sometimes* metallic, depending on brand! Thus it took 9 tries to figure out optimum settings for these.
2 brands of filament, 3 layer heights, ~80min per tile.
