I know my bio says I don't do commissions. That's because I find them stressful and I want to do my own art. If I agree to do a commission, it is rare.
I'm going to lay out my rules and pin this post so I can link people here first.

EPSTEIN LATEST: In light of what we released last week from my staff's investigation, I'm handing Trump's DOJ a ready-made case with seven different lines of investigation for them to follow the money on Jeffrey Epstein.
NEWS --> Sen Ron Wyden writes to Pam Bondi, urging DOJ to probe $1.5 billion in Epstein financial transactions that banks flagged for Treasury Dept. He lays out roadmap for DOJ to examine money flow related to sex trafficking. Challenges Bondi in new way.

Trump’s Epstein Fiasco Takes Darker Turn as Dem Senator Drops New Bomb
Ron Wyden has some ideas for Pam Bondi to pursue—if, that is, she’s genuinely interested in getting to the bottom of the Epstein scandal.

What I've been up to.
These furby studies have been fun and challenging. I'll post more later.

He looks weird right now, but I have a lot of layers to go. The portraits always go through an awkward stage before they start coming together.
I might up making an alternate jester furby. I can't justify the price at the moment! Though I'd probably spend as much on materials! 😅
I did a few more details and now it's done! Miravelle 💚🩷💛💜
I put a lot of work into making this being.

Find me on stage, where I said some things about marine CO₂ removal. 🌊
We had a Symposium on mCDR on the last afternoon of #EGU25 Not easy but still a good one

Yet during EGU25 there was a sense of fear about research. The optimism of past years was missing replaced by anxiety that some science might no longer be done as we’ve known it. This uncertainty is frightening
Made my first custom furby from a busted and raggedy looking baby furby. Now she's a work of art instead of just broken. Her motor is seized up even after oiling. I based this idea off of what I would have loved as a kid. I liked my unicorns, cats, and fantasy stuff.

Attempting a seascape study. So far I think it's going well but I can always mess it up! Letting it dry before working some more. I'd like to keep it loose but I know myself.

I may be up to 23 furbies now. There's a few more I'd like but they're a bit spendy. Casually looking for a reasonable priced peacock boom that I used to have.

Sounds like you could go out into the woods and take some clippings home and make a tincture? I also have a chronic inflammation disorder.
I don't think I'm the k8nd of artist that can finish a piece in one go. I'll go back and finish this once the paint dries. Doing some studies from a vintage art mag.

Realized I made some spelling errors. Oh well!
Going to the postal protest. My mom's a letter carrier. It's been a good job to raise a family on. One of the few left without a college degree. #protest #postoffice #resist #protestsign #tesler #lettercarrier #usps
If you are interested in prints and not a commission, I can work that out.
I will cancel if I smell a scam or I feel like you are burdening me. I'm gruff because I have put up with a ton of shit over the years as an artist. It has turned me into a hardened asshole who isn't willing to bend over and rip myself off just to make a sale.
Don't make it a hassle because I have a low tolerance for bullshit and having my time wasted.
No messaging back and forth a ton. Be clear in what you want, I'm not a mind reader.
My prices reflect my skill. I'm not doing a giant painting for $100. Literally had someone mad at me for not wanting to do that.

A large painting say 16x20 starts at $1000 and goes up depending on the complexity. A small maybe $300 same idea.
I do not accept checks ever. Venmo or cash only.
I don't do nft either.
Don't ask!
I want full payment upfront. I don't have to accept a commission at all, so this is how I want to do it. If you don't like it, find another artist.
