plus you can still get to the whole "saya 3 belts" thing eventually (which i think they probably will). you have saya lose the red to saori and finally get a bit of a setback, then win the IWGP from syuri on 1/4 and build to her winning the red back. makes way more sense i think

ok so i didn’t love saya/momo- i’d say it was very good but not great, one of the weaker matches of this reign, and no momo turn is kind of disappointing. but like. who gives a shit because SAORI ANOU RED BELT SHOT AT DREAM QUEENDOM OH MY GOD???????

plus the match itself, while great, wasn’t nearly as good as their match in march (and was one of the weakest of SLK’s epic reign). so yeah i dunno. i wish they had gone in a different direction, kind of a miss
