I prefer to live a life of appreciation, despite everything my senses, my reasoning, and my intuition says. It sounds like I'm sucking up all the time, but I notice people the way I would want to be noticed, and it makes me feel better at the end of the day.

The Saudi stuff about requiring the return of the Snyder-Verse is problematic on a lot of levels, IMO, but even if it's true, I would imagine they bring back the actors, not the creative team. People on both sides of the fight like Affleck and Cavill, but Snyder bombed. I can't see WB forgetting.

I think we should have Batman in both the Reeves and Gunn continuity, but both are trying to cast all of Batman's villains immediately, and that's a ton of risk for WB to absorb. If Gunn gets Batman in the DCU, I think he will have to focus on Justice League, not Batman, villains.

I read some of the quotes from execs that people are using to say that the Snyderverse is returning. I'm pretty sure what they're hinting at is a Batman-verse (Reeves) and a Superman-verse (Gunn), not an opening for the Snyderverse to return.

Like most of you, I too am constantly plagued by the fact that "No Brendan Fraser, No Encino Man" doesn't have the same number of syllables as "No Woman, No Cry." There's just nothing that any of us can do about it.

I think the reason David Lynch is a figure that people I know rally around is because he's a weird person who cares, and we're weird people who care. If I want to be weirder and care more, which I do, I can just look to David Lynch's example.

Hot take: Fantasy books that substitute phrases like "gods forsaken" for "god forsaken" are doing it wrong. In records from polytheistic societies, they often spoke of "god" or "the god" instead of "gods" in common parlance, referring to the head god, the god of that city, or the god of that action.

If you know there is a drugged child in a storage container being used for sexual purposes by wealthy elites, you devote your existence to telling everyone and stopping it. It's a pretty simple moral expectation that our current president couldn't figure out.
