It's been a horrible day in Chicago today with ICE ramping up activities seemingly everywhere. They even abducted a US citizen night manager of a comedy club. Lots of "enforcement" around elementary schools. It's bad.

Well, just to round that out with another dataset, electricity by me is up 25 to 30%. Somebody has to pay for the new infrastructure for the data centers, and I guess the data center companies aren't going to be the ones to do it.

Turn off "motion smoothing" in your TV settings and that will fix it. That is tv software artificially adding frames to the original source material. Many TVs also have a standard setting called "cinema" which defaults to the 24 fps of film.
