My big hope for Canada is that, as we enter elections for the country and Ontario, we all remain aware that any politician who talks of “sacrifice” and “making tough choices” is *always* referring to ordinary people and not them. The rich will not be asked to sacrifice, the toughness imposed on us.
Close to 10,000 steps today included a 4km walk #BlueSkyHealthClub working on it!

Drugs aren’t cheap but they aren’t likely to bankrupt (me). There are still too many without (supplemental) insurance that do (too often) go without.

People see what they want to see. Who would want to believe that a doctor, THEIR doctor, would do this? The question is how do you get them to see that it actually did, especially given the fact that he’s still licensed?
$45 for ambulance in Ontario Canada no matter the reason. I’m so sorry.
I can only hope that conservative Canadians are paying attention. This is what the Cons want. Money in their and their donors pockets at your/our expense. Vote like your life depends on it. It literally does.
Next year we (2 people) will pay $12,461.28 for health "insurance," and this amount means my insurer will pay for the bare legal minimum of preventive care; anything else we need we will pay out of pocket, until I have paid an additional $8000 for me or $16,000 for the family.

RANT: How fee-based Private / For Profit Primary Health Care "Innovations" are wrecking 🇨🇦 healthcare for everyone else.

Today a recruiter offered me "more information about" a job that would pay me ~450-500k/year to look after 400 patients.
