There is not enough coverage about all the ICE abductions that are going on in communities outside the city of Chicago. Here's some help with that: ICE has been active in Aurora, West Chicago, Arlington Heights, and Elgin.

I recommend that you follow iCE Aurora on FB. This abduction took place in Hoffman Estates, 37 miles from Chicago.

This isn't in the city of Chicago, so it must be in the Chicago suburbs. The media needs to be better at reporting about ICE abductions that are happening all around the Chicago land area, up to 40 miles away from the city.

I am a public school employee who has spent her entire career hearing about "thoughts and prayers" in response to mass shootings of school children. I just hope the media doesn't portray shootings in churches or of so-called religious leaders as more egregious than the killing of children.

I so appreciate the intelligence of Ta-Nehisi Coates. Kirk proudly spewed racist, homophobic, and misogynistic language to fund his lavish lifestyle. He was not a great debater or philosopher, he was a con artist who used religion to get a job after dropping out of college.

This is not the first time she has put herself at risk for her community and constituents. After a meat packing plant worker died from COVID, she visited the plant and blew the whistle on the company when she discovered they were giving their employees hairnets to wear as face masks. She's awesome!
