Dahlia that just started blooming. A mystery tuber from the Kapellen Sunday market marked "light purple". I know that when they have something labeled as a certain color or type, you can't really trust it 😃. Pretty one though! I lucked out.

I've started a (sort of) crazy Julie challenge of reading all 75 "Inspector Maigret" books by Belgian author Georges Simenon. Stopped in #tulibris a great English second hand bookstore started in 2015 near Brussels. Picked up a few (and a couple other books)

Purrsday! it's been hot here for May, like my dahlias are already forming buds kind of hot. A few days in the upper 80s. We've been enjoying the air conditioning installed in the living room in the fall. Look at Squirrel's face. She's so comfortable sitting right near the cool air flow 😸
