Today is the 21st anniv of “Burgundy & Blue” recorded in the Now Magazine building.Their review was so bad, it cut like a knife.“Perfect Prize” was a surprise radio hit, one of the most played indie songs of 2005. Big ❤️ to David E.G. Marshall, Daniel Black, Jeremy Elliott, Ed Zych. lnk.to/burgblue

“Broken down cars, little dive bars. Radio’s playing 54-40. My heart soars through wild rose country. We had a lingerie lunch while Venice was sinking. Those Ontario boys, they just kept on drinking”

Directed by Jeremy Elliott
Released July 27, 2018

Recorded at Canterbury Sound, Toronto.
Had a ton of fun with these two dudes. We stumbled on something really magical. Grateful to be here and feel so lucky to get to do this making music thing and that I get to do it with kindred souls. When we come together. We are stronger together. It’s just that simple. 🖤🧡
Pictured here with friend Shakura who is a dynamic performer, artist, and festival programmer. She came down to 18 Waits to support me when I performed a concert there hosted by Akme. We will be performing at Base 31 in Prince Edward County, joined by some incredible songwriters Oct 25 & 26.
What an honour🧡🖤

“Some days are easy, and some days are hard. It’s never too late to go back to the start. I never stop dreaming, as hard as I try. Watching the world as it passes me by. One more time, one more time. Rescue me; your lovе is going to set me free”
Filmed & recorded 30-03-2019 at The Great Hall Toronto
Here’s a picture of me and Derek Downham. We ran into each other at the Pearson Airport baggage claim some time ago. He was coming in from Nashville and I was coming back from Virginia. He is an awesome friend, musician, producer, and human. We’ve know each other since the beginning of time. 😉
As a person who grew up exposed, taught and brought up between two different ideologies what I witnessed and learned was that love and acceptance conquers all. Sending everyone in my family so much gratitude for teaching me that 💫

"It was mornings like these when the breeze whistled through the trees. The fog would hover and the grass would still be wet. I’d put on my rain boots, and I'd get dressed...” -Julian Taylor
Recorded at The Woodshed, Toronto
Released June 19, 2020
You actually can’t make anything great again. It’s a false concept. The past is gone, the future is unwritten, right now is all we are given. If you want to make something great again then you’re living in the past and can’t move forward. Trust me I’ve tried and it doesn’t work.
I’ve been thinking about the world a lot lately and wanted to share some of my thoughts through a song that I wrote called “Drive”.

“Tonight, I’m gonna keep on writing
Right on until the morning
Tonight, I’m gonna keep on writing
Till I write what I wanna hear… “
