Yeah it's a nasty high sider but we seen quite a bit of those. Maybe it's him hanging onto the bike that gets him catapulted onto the tarmac so roughly

🚑 Mav declared OUT for Portimão. They hope to have him back for Valencia. Pretty crazy Viñales has now been unfit for more races in 2025 than he's been race fit. What could've been thinking of his form before this crash, and what Acosta is able to do now...

I share your worries. Tho I haven't seen what happened to Nascar from up close, I've heard about. Reason I fell for MotoGP again was that F1 felt so rigged/stewarded that MotoGP felt much more pure and 'human'. Not a commercial circus. Hopefully it remains that way

Van der Mark, who has just waved goodbye to World Superbike after 11 years, also did the last two races of the season back in 2017 for Monster Yamaha Tech 3.

Just a small Dutch touch to the announcement of Nicolo Bulega replacing Marc Marquez for the last two MotoGP races of '25 😁

Bulega is the first World Supersport (step-up series to World Superbike) champion (2023) to eventually be promoted to MotoGP since... Michael van der Mark (2014). Yay Holland!

I find it hard to fire myself up for F1 lately. Despite a close title fight. Did look frwd to Mexico but then this dubious stewarding: it's hard to believe in the sport right now imo. I hope Liberty won't ruin MotoGP 🤞

- another solid Alex performance
- Acosta outperforms the KTM
- Pecco can't (really) catch a break but wasn't running behind Chantra
- that Franky overtake on Quartararo 🚂
- just when we thought Aprilia had the best all-round bike...
- can't Gresini just keep this tone of blue?

🇲🇾 So, Friday at Sepang tells us:
- Rain is down to party this weekend
- Pol keeps delivering: straight to Q2
- Alex M. goes down twice but still makes it to Q2
- Pecco does not go straight back into the garage after a first lap
- Q1 is gonna be 🔥 with Bez, Aldeguer, Pecco, Marini, Fernandez & Binder

📸 As mentioned in our MissedApex MotoGP San Marino race review; the very different aero design Michele Pirro tested on Monday. Much resembling the Aprilia and Yamaha 'mustache' wing, moving away from their own style as copied by KTM and Honda.

Curious as to what they bring at the Valencia test.
