We were on Kirkstall Rd at the time when the River Aire had just burst. Saw the water coming towards us and managed to get away before it became serious!
Went to an unveiling of the blue plaque for Walter Hook yesterday at the Leeds Minster!

Without him, we wouldn't have the history of Leeds the way we know it!
