The year is 2026. Are you making a Star Fox inspired game? I want to play it. I want to support your Kickstarter. I want to edit a trailer. (I'd also like to voice a random background character but that's not a support thing I just think it would be neat)

Show me your game! I'll probably like it!

I wasn't really keeping an eye on PRAGMATA, but after trying the demo on both PS5 and Switch 2 it has got me very excited. Even better, that Switch 2 version plays incredibly well. Our short preview for @nintendonwr.bsky.social with @jtsknight92.bsky.social doing tech analysis! youtu.be/yiobLgzxOv4

Hey everyone, I got laid off from my day job today so if anyone happens to know any paid work a podcast editor can do, let me know.

Also like, an office job with benefits if you happen to have that, but some podcast editing would give me some breathing room.

It's very important to have a good handle on dev teams so that if you're going to make up rumors you can at least make up good ones.

Hell yeah. Really hope this makes it to Switch 2. Oceanhorn 2 was a personal favorite on Switch. www.youtube.com/watch?v=toA7...

The remarkable audacity to not only have one of the worst skyboxes I've ever seen, but to give it this much screen real estate. Even if they were to just stack a couple other flat layers on top to give some parallax rather than a flat image rendered from the totally wrong perspective.

I just want to apologize to any games I enjoyed in 2025. It appears I'm very bad for sales.

not that I expect Metroid Prime 4 to sell gangbusters, but I'm pretty sure if you take a 3-4 week launch month sampling of any Metroid Prime game, it doesn't crack a million in that time frame.

Hey, this is a really good and simple colorblind mode for this puzzle that didn't require any bad filters or reworking all the assets. Good job Neyyah.

My first @nintendonwr.bsky.social video review of the year, a joint effort with the amazing @whilhorst.bsky.social, is for Dragin Quest VII Reimagined, an approachable remake for newcomers that loses some of the 3DS version's heart in the process:

The vibes of Shadowgate 64 are incredible. Consistently unnerving despite never really attempting to scare you. Up there with Myst and Metroid Prime 1 in terms of making you feel very alone.

Honestly probably the highest quality footage we've seen of this demo and all you're really missing is the ship flying into the background after it rotates.
I was asked to see if we had anything showing the StarFox demo animation that Nintendo had when it debuted the Virtual Boy at E3 1995. We do, but it cuts out really quickly, and the jump cut to the confused man is making me giggle.

The problem with marketing your system as having "perfect" compatibility is that its real awkward every time you have to patch it to fix compatibility. Anyway, I'm glad I'll be able to see the entire screen in Gauntlet now on my perfectly compatible Analogue 3D. www.analogue.co/support/3d/f...

It only took 28 days, but here's my first @nintendonwr.bsky.social review of 2026: Dispatch

A wonderful narrative game with great writing and voicework that fans of TellTale and mature superhero stories should definitely check out:

Very curious where Nintendo's exact line is in terms of separating this from the content in Cyberpunk or Witcher 3.
Dispatch is censored on Switch, as mandated by Nintendo:

"We worked with Nintendo to ensure the content within the title met the criteria to release on their platforms[...]core narrative and gameplay experience remains identical to the original release" said AdHoc

"The core narrative and gameplay experience remains identical" AdHoc reassures Dispatch players on Switch as it confirms Nintendo platform versions are censored
Dispatch is gearing up for its debut on Switch later today, however there will be some censorship differences on Nintendo's consoles.

We are saddened by the passing of Graeme Baird, a visionary programmer who, alongside Ian Oliver and Andy Onions, co-founded Realtime Games Software. While the 16-bit era is often credited for the 3D revolution, it was Graeme, working with Ian, who brought Starglider to the 8-bit generation. (1/4)
