I can't recall it ever happening, but does anyone know if the Chinese government has blocked media from an event over language -- b/c they didn't refer to Taiwan as "Taiwan, China", or Second Thomas Shoal as "Ren ai jiao", or Tibet as "Xizang", etc?

We lost an absolute legend today, a one-of-a-kind journalist, colleague and friend. My thoughts are with his family in Hanoi, where I am confident someone soon will raise a frosty glass of bia hoi in his honor. (Like the ones in this photo, from the last time we were together.)
