We went down and cheered the runners on for a bit. They were persevering, but the conditions were pretty miserable. I usually run the #columbusmarathon but did Akron this year instead. I felt some strong "There but for the grace of God" vibes while we were cheering. At least it wasn't too cold out!

#running It's not all multi-purpose trails by the river and wooded metro parks. Sometimes it's alleys in SoHud. 5 miles. 10:09 per mile.

I've been listening to the audiobook "How to Smile" by Thich Nhat Hanh a lot lately. It's short (a little over an hour), practical, and, to be honest, Hanh's word pouring into my brain pan are much more helpful than the things I come up with on my own. Maybe give it a try if you're struggling.
