I am not a heavy drinker when it comes to alcohol but I can absolutely demolish a pack of Reed's ginger beer if given the opportunity.
I do not drink because I have almost no tolerance for it anymore (one margarita is too much).

If you are hosting a party, I recommend also stocking:
-fancy ginger beer
-coconut water
-premium juices like lychee and guava
-apple cider with cinnamon
-Italian sodas
-sparkling water

Lots of options!

I see some of my friends on here consider the use of two forms of the Roman rite to be an unsustainable norm. I agree. There should be at least five.

"The Running Man" is the second movie I've seen this year that I would unqualifiedly describe as perfectly executed filmmaking.

It's also interesting that in some respects the expectations for a sponsor are more rigorous than the expectations for a confirmand. Like the Church wants the sacrament to be accessible, but wants you to have the strongest supports you can as you prepare for it.
AND

"To perform the function of sponsor, a person must....be a catholic....who lives a life of faith which befits the role to be undertaken; not labour under a canonical penalty, whether imposed or declared."(Canons 874 and 893)

Literally no way to square this with your civil spouse as sponsor.

BTW this situation came up on my feed on the bird site, a few things I noted:
-anchor was a lapsed Catholic, not a candidate for full communion, so diffirent requirements
-confirmation itself should've been discouraged but probably was permissible
-gay partner as sponsor is COMPLETELY impermissible
fwiw the disgraced Bishop Strickland was probably one of them. He tried to prevent the assembly from considering the message altogether by bringing up a somewhat boutique concern.

increasingly convicted that writing eighteen scripts for your eighteen episode TV show is in fact a much better idea than writing a 500 page narrative document for the season.

Twin Peaks: The Return depicts many things both strange and unnatural, but perhaps no event moreso than a man eating two TV dinners at the same time.

why do I get the impression that "there were definitely no children" transitioning to "there were no young children" might be a preview of the administration's stance on Trump's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein?
After the FBI denied "children were zip-tied or hit with rubber bullets" in a raid in Wilder, Idaho, the FBI said no "young" children were.

The updated statement came after KIVI-TV sent FBI photo reportedly showing 14-year-old U.S. citizen in zip ties.
FBI backtracks on denying children were zip tied in Idaho raid, saying instead no ‘young’ kids were • Idaho Capital Sun

Every year since 2015 has without exception vindicated my extreme distaste for Bernie Sanders.
Bernie about Platner,

“In all due respect, all right, what I'm worried about, 50,000 Americans may die unnecessarily? And you're worried about a tattoo?"

When I asked about his comments about sexual assault, he said "Have you served four tours of duty?" I said "I have not."

Bernie: "Ok"
