You need to see this:
“The show of force is the point. They want these images to be out…The Department of Homeland Security is walking around Chicago with a film crew.” @jacobsoboroff.bsky.social

Nothing says “America First” like letting another country put an Air Force base in Idaho

The thing that makes me the sickest is that these folks don’t even have a shred of compassion. It’s one thing to enforce laws and rules. It’s another to do it gleefully and celebrate the suffering of someone born into poverty and desperation

Why do headlines say "norms shattered" when what is meant is "laws broken" or "Constitution violated"?
The truest thing I have read all day.

I'm sorry but it's extremely hard to swallow a story that claims someone radicalized enough to go after an ICE facility with a sniper rifle would shoot three detainees and not hit a single ICE agent, if their goal was to shoot ICE agents. And using a marker to write "ANTI-ICE" on a bullet? Come on.
Quite the Orwellian contradiction in this DHS statement: "Three detainees were shot. Two are deceased, and the other is in critical condition."
Two sentences later: "This was an attack on ICE law enforcement."
Two sentences later: "This was an attack on ICE law enforcement."
This speech is such an extraordinary combination of lies, delusions, narcissism, hatefulness, ignorance and lunacy that it could have been given by no other person than the president of the United States. It could well be the low point of US public diplomacy in our history.
Disney didn’t just incur a $3.8 billion loss overnight. If the boycott continues, it could escalate to over $20 billion. This is how you combat fascism.
