Universal Scaling Relations in Electron-Phonon Superconductors
We study linear scaling relations in electron-phonon superconductors. By combining numerical and analytical techniques, we find linear Homes scaling relations between the zero-temperature superfluid d...

My work on Homes scaling with Prof. Rufus Boyack has now been published in PRL. Our theory (the first for Homes scaling beyond the dirty BCS limit) predicts that Homes scaling is a hallmark of some finite dissipation mechanism, irrespective of the form of pairing.

At #APSMarchMeeting this year, I'll be presenting on my work with Rufus Boyack (arxiv.org/abs/2407.14580) on the Homes scaling relation in electron-phonon superconductors:
summit.aps.org/events/MAR-B...
Monday, 11:54 am – 12:06 pm
Anaheim Convention Center, 255B (Level 2)
Make sure to stop by!

I have two new papers on the arXiv connected to work w/Alexander Balatsky:
arxiv.org/abs/2502.14823
arxiv.org/abs/2503.08767
We identify soft phonon modes as a potential TLS candidate in superconducting qubits, and explore intrinsic decoherence mechanisms unique to the superconducting channel.

Is anyone else having issues with the APS mobile app? Most sessions aren’t showing up, and it won’t let me add talks to my schedule #APS #GlobalPhysicsSummit
