"I think it was a good performance, not a great performance," @canmntofficial.bsky.social head coach Jesse Marsch says following Canada's 0-0 draw with Colombia.

Look for my piece on @onesoccer.bsky.social tomorrow.

Replay made it feel even thinner. Close, close match.

Oh, that’s a close call. Canada a toe away from going up 1-0 versus Colombia but it’s ruled offside. #CanMNT

100 per cent. If anything, I think it suits Marsch’s tactics more to hit on the counter with speed. I do wonder if they’ll make some squad changes to have a little more pace.

Canada's October window is one of the final chances for players to earn World Cup roster spots.

And they could welcome a new dual national into the mix, changing the outlook with less than eight months to go.

Truly atrocious piece, too. Screencapping so you don't have to give them the traffic.

Literally just an emotionless, robotic summary of the game sheet, with a note telling us that they couldn't even bother getting an editor to skim it

The race to the bottom is such garbage

Huge match for Atlético Ottawa today as they continue their chase for the CPL Shield. The kids, and the club’s new attacking philosophy, have breathed new life into long-time goalkeeper Nathan Ingham, who continues to develop as a leader.

New: Oh, yes, there were moments of promise for the @canmntofficial.bsky.social in Montréal.

The evening, however, ended in disappointment as Canada ran out of ideas against a low block. Given their real test is less than 10 months away, the time is now for them to figure out their challenges.

New: At times, it was sloppy. It involved suffering. But @hfxwanderersfc.bsky.social did what they needed to do, securing a 3-0 win over Valour FC to keep their chase for third on the table alive.

I feel like the biggest thing is more is expected of them now. That, and the club having never won anything taking its toll.

Lorenzo Callegari left in the match by the good graces of referee Ben Hoskins. Valour still trail by one.

And just like that @hfxwanderersfc.bsky.social are on the board, with Alessandro Biello setting up Adam Pearlman. 1-0 lead over Valour. #CanPL
