The thing about Daniel Penny and self defense laws is setting up a legal defense based largely on the perception of the perpetrator insinuates that the level of potentially lethal violence you are sanctioned to inflict on another individual necessarily increases based on how scary that person seems

Pretty cool that if you commit treason all you have to do is delay our incredibly lethargic justice system for a few years until you can convince a several million fools to re-vote you into office and it's all chill. Definitely what the fouding fathers had in mind.

A pretty depressing reality we have to acknowledge that is at least kind of hopeful for future elections (if we have any) is that he won because a large amount of voters in this country who don’t think of much else think Trump is cool, and that applies to basically no other elected Republican.
