it’s true nothing prepared me for being a journalist like covering the North American Lacrosse League when I was 15 years old
I wasn't much of a player myself, maxing out at modified lacrosse at Amherst Middle School. But I did the next best thing and wrote about it. @mingemi.bsky.social and I were just two teenagers learning on the job as we tried to cover indoor lacrosse at -- frankly -- a strange time for the sport.
