I was sickened by the Trump/Vance circus in the Oval Office and have been feeling anxious ever since. The security I’ve grown up with has suddenly been undermined. This post that’s going round FB sums some of it up.

In honour of Trump’s inauguration I decided to deactivate my Twitter account and delete the app. I happened to see @iandunt.bsky.social post over there, advocating same, and the comments! It makes you want to cry - hatred, myopia, zero self-awareness. I despair - why do they just want to fight?

Made the mistake of looking at Twitter - it’s so hateful and depressing.
I foolishly engaged with some guy in the US who’s supporting Musk calling UK MP Jess Phillips (who he’s prob never even heard of) a rape genocide apologist - how does that happen?
How are so many people full of such vitriol?

Musk has undermined democracy and perverted the course of justice in the US. Now he’s trying it in the UK - can he be stopped?
