Plus the 32x version supports the Dempa Xe-1ap which was made for After Burner. And is also a trail blazer for modern controllers.
Is it new background music by 3 doors down?
Is it me or does the music seem slightly slower than normal? I played a lot of hopper on the Electron. Although we had a green screen and it was years before I knew you could play in colour.
At least no one is going to remote onto your pc and steal your files. Though probably mostly because they'd have to get you to set your modem to auto answer.
Weird hearing the music at 60hz.
The graphics look great for a 1989 Amiga game.
I was a Lynx fan and still am. Great multiplayer too.
Costco NZ were selling Series X at half price. Obviously to clear stock.
That's pretty cool. Somewhere I have assets from the A1200 demo they used in Dick Smith in NZ. I asked back in the day and just copied the files off the demo machine. Wish I had copied the whole demo. It had pictures and anims with a mod version of its my life by Dr Alban. Some HAM8 pics too.
Oh wow, I need these! My one has turned to dust!
The problem is, it's not physical vs digital. Physical is just a medium for digital. The problem has always been DRM. Just older cartridges/discs came without DRM.
Needs an 040? I get it, the Amiga 1200 wasn't a powerhouse, most people probably use winuae and pistorm isn't that expensive, but I always think it's a shame that more and more of these modern amiga games won't work on factory machines.
At least it's not 'From the annoying unskipable tutorial'
Man I'd love that place. I could finally open my museum 😊
Remember? Still use them 😊
Bit pointless anyway as most of those disc boxes you could just squeeze the lid over and push the metal L bracket through the hole anyway. Or if it was really stuck, pull the lid at the plastic pegs at the back and they would just come out.
Yep, battle arena Toshinden on a US import PlayStation we had in the store. Took that home a few nights I can tell you. Also Ridge Racer.
And transparent water in Quake, which everyone else at the LAN claimed was cheating.
That's pretty cool. Better than the old hand scanners which worked like a photocopier and you had to drag it at the right speed in one direction.
Ah the days of full software rendering. SVGA was just a bit much for fast action games. But for flight sims, the mix of sharp 800*600, low poly models and minimal texturing (sometimes just gourad shading) was a thing of beauty.
Wow, that's so cool! Time to fire up the old save again!
Haven't thought about stairway to hell in a while. Reminds me also of the now defunct website of the same name that I contributed a few titles to.
