I am a comic reader, collector, and reviewer. But most of all, I’m a comic lover!
Zub is bringing all three narratives closer. We also see the similarities in the main characters. Gil continues to show his massive talent. I’m starting to notice some of the small, intricate lines he uses the more I look at his work. He makes a lot of interesting marks. I’m loving this series.

The overall story of this issue is very good. Sacks gives us clear motivation for Boba Fett. Ryp’s art has a lot of detail. Every panel is interesting. The action scenes and character design are fun. His use of color is incredible. Head out to a local comic store and scoop this one up.

Johnson is able to give us an epic monster story with some quieter character moments. Klein’s art is absolutely incredible. The level of detail on these pages is astounding. The quieter moments are interesting to look at due to the variety of angles. You should definitely grab this issue.

Dutter & Salicrup give us a straight forward origin story. Delbo & DeCarlo give us some enjoyable art. There’s some really fun cartooning in some of the faces. Captain Planet looks awesome and heroic. I loved Captain Planet as a kid. There was always an important message wrapped in the adventure.

Both stories are well written with elaborate plans, goofy dialogue, and some truly hilarious jokes. Carzon and DeCarlo are on art. The page layouts are inventive. The character designs are fun, particularly the leprechauns and troll. If you like silly, well drawn comics, check this serious out.

Aragones is a master cartoonist. The page layouts are mostly in a traditional 9 panel grid. There’s one page that uses diagonal panels as the characters are pulling a rock up a hill. It conveys motion while also helping the joke. It’s just fantastic storytelling. I’m a huge fan of Groo and Aragones.

There’s some very good ideas written by Owsley in this issue. Gascoine is an artist I’m not familiar with. The storytelling is easy to follow. I like the way he draws explosions and smoke. I find his mark making interesting. This was a quarter box find, and I plan to hunt down more of this series.

Baron gives us a fairly pedestrian story filled with cliche mobster behavior. Butler’s art is the strongest thing about this issue. When Punisher finally does what he came there to do, the action is big and dynamic. If you find this issue in a dollar (or less) box it’s worth your money.

This is Jim Lee by way of Frank Miller’s Sin City. There’s way more blacks and negative space than he usually uses. Manabat’s art in Cybernary is incredible. It’s highly detailed. The page layouts are unconventional. The entire story is so 90s. I love it. This comic is a must own for any comic fan.

Lackey nails the characters and tone. Parker’s pencils, inks, and letters are fantastic. The dialogue has a bouncy, organic feel. There’s exaggerated expressions and anatomy. Some of the images are wonderfully disgusting. Literally every single page of this comic is a blast to look at.

Kirkman shows a focus on character over narrative, which is important. It doesn’t matter if the big picture is epic if we don’t care about the individual characters. De Felici’s art shines. The page layouts are very well thought out. I know it’ll be a lot of fun getting caught up on this series.

Duggan does a good job showing us the heroes working together. This issue wraps the story up well until the epilogue. Then, it just feels like an ad for another Godzilla series. The art, by Garron and Scietronic, is awesome. The page layouts are dynamic. Overall this series was very fun.

The first story is written by Morrison. It gets confusing, but it’s genuinely funny, weird, and very far out there. Mora’s art is incredible. Sherman kills it in the 2nd story. Their wild, inventive page layouts are perfect for a supernatural story. Overall, this is a really fun and weird comic.

Guggenheim gives us some poignant moments as Qui-Gon has to deal with his past. Musabekov is proving to be a versatile artist. He varies up his page layouts, showing that he’s paying attention to the composition of each page. He uses negative space much more. This is another solid issue.

Williamson gives us an action packed issue. There’s also some great moments between Duke and Cobra Commander. Reilly is becoming one of my favorite artists in the industry. He consistently finds dynamic and unique ways of laying his pages out. This is a fantastic comic book series.

This is a perfect first issue written by Kirkman. The icing on the cake is De Felici’s art. The ship and character designs are interesting. The action is fast paced. He shows very strong storytelling skills. When the Transformer Jetfire shows up, he looks awesome. I can’t wait to read more.

Segura keeps weaving characters in and out of the story with ease. Woods is filling in on art. Every character is recognizable, but he’s not precious with making sure they stay on model, which makes everything have a natural flow. Hopefully they can build on the momentum this issue provided.

North does a fantastic job telling one issue stories that are fun and satisfying. Ramos’s art impressed me. It’s mostly people sitting around talking, but it’s never boring. The characters are always doing something, even while in conversation. This issue is perfect for any new or returning reader.

Condon has done an excellent job building a world where it feels like there’s no hope. I never get tired of looking at Cappuccio’s art. There’s a looseness in the line art that makes it feel organic and open. As this series comes to a close, I’m looking forward to seeing how far they push Wolverine.
November 21, 2025 at 9:59 PM
This issue feels different from others in the series, as Zub adds in some political maneuvering. Dagnino’s art is fantastic. His page layouts are incredibly varied. There’s several pages that he chooses not to use panel borders. Head out to your local comic shop and grab a copy.

Kirkman really leans in to Optimus’s compassion and hope in this issue. Dan Mora is one of the best artists in the industry today. He knows when to hold back and use negative space to help the page breathe. This is an incredibly well made comic by passionate and talented creators.
November 19, 2025 at 3:17 PM
Barnes continues to explore the psyche of an older Han Solo. His fixation on his ship is leading him to ignore his other responsibilities. Rosanas’s art is strong. He captures Han’s gestures and mannerisms perfectly. Chewie’s facial expressions are very fun. Overall, this series has been enjoyable.

The first story is written and drawn by Liam Sharp. His art is stunning. There are so many lines on these pages. None of them are wasted. This is one of the best comic stories I’ve read all year. The second story, by Marz and Earls, is shorter. It’s well written with cool action and creature design.
