ATM1L1S11=255 is a good starter init string (s11 register sets dtmf speed to max so it sounds like you're a hacker when the modem dials). if you have one of the new 14.4's you gotta add commands to enable v.42bis but thats vendor specific so look it up

the way they're doing this is clever and plenty non-intrusive imo, i like it. my only concern is that it might teach bad drivers that they can just stomp on it until the car yells, not being actually cognizant of their acceleration or handling or the environment around them
