Friends if you work at a creative tech/games/etc company in and around London, and you'd be willing to hire some internship/placement students for 2-3 months over summer, please let me know! I have incredibly smart and engaged undergrads looking for summer opportunities.
I am enjoying our book club. The actual books, not so much, although the trend is improving.

I would absolutely watch this show.
ANDOR creator Tony Gilroy likes the idea of a Kleya and Vel ‘Nazi hunters’ spin-off series in which the duo hunt after former Imperials following the fall of the Empire with the assistance of Dedra Meero in a Hannibal Lector-esque role.

In which we launch a series with the single games novel I already owned, which turned out to be terrible. Fun episode though.

Alice, it is time to get on the Marmite.
This is the media literacy I crave.

@gralefrit.bsky.social You have to see these! A friend of mine has been collating a series of images entitled "Things my students have written turned into Philomena Cunk quotes" and they're just glorious.
Philomena Cunk against a collection of classical statues. "Antigone's death is even more tragic than it actually is, which makes her a tragic hero" Philomena Cunk looking thoughtful. "Goya continued to paint tapestries until 1792 when serious illness left him dead for life" Philomena Cunk looking thoughtfully into the distance. "Society is slowly becoming more contemporary now" Philomena Cunk looking into camera on a beach. "Diderot's Tahiti represents a typical male fantasy in which attractive young women are eager to engage in sexual activity with the French"
Big news from the old country. I'm excited for them. Rich was never short of ideas and that brand has a peerless reputation, I look forward to seeing where they take it.
We're excited and proud to announce that Digital Foundry is now fully independent, having parted ways amicably with IGN. In this DF Direct Special, we share our thoughts and aspirations for the future of the channel: youtu.be/tl7bIJ2yu4I
update: turns out the email I have for you no longer works. Which should I use? I proved I'm an adult so you can DM me.
This was not the scandal I was expecting, I believe that to be a UK term. So media is doubly saved by opinion pieces arguing about it.
Because the successful ones are hugely profitable, and when this studio started it was plausible that you could launch one successfully. I don't think that's the case these days.
I wish them every success, but "[ex-big studio person] presents live-service game" feels like an announcement from a different era.

Wildgate key artwork showing collage of human and alien characters riding flying vehicles through space
All part of building a strong legend.
I will email you!
He said as much. Demographics and mathematics didn't give any other option.
I went to an offsite in... 2010, maybe, at which a speaker from a financial firm stated with absolute certainty the state pension age would be 72 by the time most of us retired. Bleak.
This feels like a trap, but: yes, I was.
