Approx 500 Pink-footed Geese are feeding on stubble fields between Keelby and Habrough, Lincs this evening.

A nice day birding around my Keelby, Lincs patch today. 43 species recorded including:
Stonechat (3) - first of the Autumn
Raven (2) - flying west
Red Kite (1)
Peregrine (1)

Also 642 Pink-footed Geese heading towards the Lincolnshire Wolds from their Humber roost.

Nice walk around my Keelby, Lincs patch this morning. 42 species recorded including Red Kite (1), Hobby (1), Nuthatch, a flock of 7 Mistle Thrush, Meadow Pipit (21) and a surprise Grey Wagtail hunting insects in a boggy clearance in Roxton Woods.

I am a member of a local Swift Group and we try to work with developers to try and get Swift boxes / Swift bricks incorporated into new build housing. Unfortunately, from my experience the majority of developers are just not interested.
I will check it out next time I am in the area!
I had a flock of 10 Snow Bunting between Goxhill Haven and Dawson City yesterday whilst doing my WeBS count, plus a further two individuals between East Halton Skitter and Winter's Pond.
First Pink-footed Gesse of the Autumn just flown over Keelby, Lincolnshire. Approx 60 birds heading SE. #UKbirds
