This is the first in a series of @lawfaremedia.org articles @j-dren.bsky.social and I have coming out that look at the implications of the administration's coercive approach to alliances in general and NATO in particular.

Stay tuned:
The Trump administration's continued attacks on NATO may cause long term damage to U.S. security if allies downgrade their cooperation with the U.S. @j-dren.bsky.social and @atabatabai.bsky.social explain the benefits that NATO allies provide that would significantly harm U.S. security if lost.

Anytime US military of defense officials state things that are demonstrably false, it undermines our defense and that of our allies. As we see US officials routinely state things that are misleading or false, we have to ask whether accountability is dead.
The U.S. will be capable of defending “the entire nation” against ballistic missiles and other aerial threats via Golden Dome by summer 2028, and grow the architecture by 2035 to address the full range of threats as defined by the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Golden Dome director said

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

This is a direct violation of the Constitution.
Marco Rubio: "The oil proceeds are being deposited into an account that ultimately will become a US Treasury blocked account here in the US. We will say 'this is what this money can be spent on.' They will submit to us a budget request -- 'we want to use the money on these things.'"

The world is closer than ever to the end, according to those behind the Doomsday Clock, which is set 85 seconds to “midnight” for 2026.

Members of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists moved the metaphorical clock forward by four seconds as threats of humanity’s own making continue to grow.
These scientists say the world is closer than ever to ‘doomsday’
The assessment reflected growing risks related to nuclear weapons, climate change, AI, autocracy, biological technologies and other human-made threats.

So Trump is now against public or concealed carry?

Because I remember white men with long guns at ballot boxes and at a major rally in Richmond not too long ago.

Laws are not what one person says they are. They are supposed to be uniform standards that apply to everyone.
Trump: "With that being said, you can't have guns. You can't walk in with guns. You just can't. You can't walk in with guns. You can't do that. But it's just a very unfortunate incident."
