With this policy though you might see an uptake in citizenship. Those affected might just go ‘I’ll finally get round to applying for citizenship’ if on ILR. For some that won’t work but for many others it will.
I think also press despatches & photos too. Looks like ‘Press’ written on one of the bags.

What a great show it was! Managed to capture this one of the BBMF Lancaster too.
I wonder if she was shown/taught any weapons handling?
I think that combined with the geodetic pattern is a nod to the aircraft types (Halifax & Wellington at least).
I don’t mind it although its location is a bit odd. Aluminium from an RCAF Halifax was used in the roof is a good touch though.
Great to see @drkatevigurs.bsky.social Mission Europe in good company at Hatchards at London St Pancras. @hatchards.bsky.social #MissionEurope

I agree - very impressive. I believe there is a removal date for poppies (from Remembrance Sunday) but of course others may be added in the year for VE/VJ etc.
The striking War Memorial in #Luton today. Erected in 1922 after public subscription. @britwarmemorial.bsky.social

OTD 85 years ago. My Gt Uncle Jack as Coxswain of HMS Gulzar (pictured) rescued the last 47 British troops from Calais under gunfire. A day later he took part in Op Dynamo at Dunkirk rescuing 500. #Dunkirk85 #Dynamo
