one insidious thing about gen AI is it's not just causing us to mistrust dodgy images, it's also making us mistrust images that look perfectly normal. this is gaslighting in a very literal sense bc the technology is undermining the trust we have in our own ability to perceive reality!

So it's very clear from the way Trump talks about mental institutions & people in mental institutions as society's refuse that he wants nothing good for people in them. But he plans to institutionalize more than ever including many homeless. He's a real sadist. I think this is true psychopathy.

I think its entirely possible the big tech bros will actually fight for 'human rights' for ai, before fighting for humans to have human rights, purely on the basis of it making them money
