It was fantastic to meet such enthusiastic pupils at Middleton Community Primary School during UK Parliament week.
The pupils asked lots of thoughtful and challenging questions - everything from how laws are made, to my favourite ice cream flavour! We may have some future MPs!

Cromford Mills was the first water-powered cotton spinning mill and, alongside other sites in Derbyshire, the birthplace of the industrial revolution.

I was grateful to meet with the Stone Federation to discuss the importance of British natural stone in creating sustainable housing.
Quarries and the stone sector play a vital role in our local economy, and I will continue to use my voice to ensure these industries are represented in Parliament.
